Our Staff

Tammy Schilling, DVM

A Duluth native, Dr. Schilling grew up on a farm where her family raised dairy cattle and hogs.  She attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology.  After her time at UMD, Dr. Schilling attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota, she graduated in 2008.

 

Dr. Schilling keeps incredibly busy between her time spent at Twin Ports Spay/Neuter and spending time with her family.

Lisa Lepak

Lisa returns to spay/neuter as the jack-of-all-trades after taking a break and being a self employed fiber artist.  Active in Puppa's Pals (a 501c3 that finds foster placement for people going through crisis), she brings her special brand of sarcastic humor, a love of bully breeds, and an upbeat attitude to work with her every day.  In her down time, she enjoys crafting, spending time with friends, doing craft shows and doing a ton of dog sitting in her home.  She shares her life with 3 dogs and 2 hedgehogs.

Jessie Fox 

An avid horsewoman, Jessie returns to Spay/Neuter after working in manufacturing. She brings her composed personality and calm nature ensuring that all animals get the proper medication during their visit at Twin Ports Spay/Neuter. In her free time, she spends time with her horses, her family and friends, and her bloodhound, Spur.

Joanna Anderson 

Long time Duluthian, Joanna has been working in the veterinary field for over 15+ years. She is passionate about ensuring that companion animals receive high quality care and attention. She has a geriatric yellow lab, high energy young boston terrier and very geriatric cat.

Ashley Buck

Ashley comes to us from the human medical field as our float/fill in. A busy mom with 3 kids, in her free time she enjoys doing crafts like resin and crocheting, spending time with her husband and kids, and gossiping with her next door neighbor, Lisa.

Phoenix Stocke

Leaving retail to pursue her dream of working with animals, Phoenix's life-long love of animals and obsession with cats has brought her down this path. Working at Twin Ports Spay and Neuter has been a fulfilling journey that has granted her the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many animals. Her home has become a safe haven for cats and kittens  of all ages, that she has fostered or tnr'd. In her free time, Phoenix enjoys spending time with family and snuggling her cats at home.​​

Bailey Boo

Bailey is a Duluth native. She's worked on and off with animals her whole life. Having grown up with a pet groomer for a mother and the business inside their house, she is well versed in the animal world. Recently transitioning to the world of pet med, here at Twin Ports she has loved ever minute of it. Bailey enjoys her time off spending it with her dog, Sawyer. Taking him for walks or doing his favorite thing in the world, playing ball.

Ellie Laine

Ellie, a young woman residing in Barnum with her boyfriend and numerous pets, is a deeply compassionate towards animals. Growing up on a farm surrounded by a plethora of critters, she developed a natural inclination to rescue and care for any animal in need. Her passion led her to embark on a rewarding career in vet med at Twin Ports Spay and Neuter, where she finds immense joy in her work. Ellie's home is a sanctuary for animals, featuring her cats, a dog named Mabel, and a flock of chickens. When she's not engaging in her veterinary duties, Ellie cherishes spending time outdoors with Mabel or indoors, entertaining playful antics with her feline companions. Ellie's ultimate passion is to pursue a career in vet med, making a positive impact on the lives of animals.

Rikki Simmonsen

A motivated individual who has always enjoyed spending her time around animals. Eager to join our team, Rikki aspires to work closely with dogs. Her long term goal is to manage her own dog facility. Her spare time at home is spent walking her dogs and playing with her children.
